Missing the water

Isn’t it fun to have this weed stuck in your sock?

The place is kind of romantic. The original is monochrome too – only in green. Hard to believe but looks better in black and white!

    Great B&W:s!!

But I say no to these weeds stuck in my socks 😉

    Have a nice week!

lovely image, even the sticky weed…lol

  3. Carver Says:

I love all of these shots. Fun commentary too. I know what you mean about sticky weeds that just won’t come off.

  4. BJ Says:

I don’t like those prickly weeds in my sock, but they sure look nice in a mono photo.

    Your photo’s are great.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!

He seems a bit perplexed looking at that dry fountain. The pigeons seem to be doing ok with it though.

Those sticky weeds are the worst – they never come out, at least not the ones we have here.

  7. Shaun Says:

Beautiful Ellievellie… he either wants to chase the birds or jump into the fountain…

  8. Aileni Says:

They look a bit lost, don’t they – but that is a false notion because they aren’t water birds. All in the mind

  9. Chris Says:

    Beautiful series!

  10. Regina Says:

Great mono creation. I like it all. Nice blog.

The weed seed looks spectacular in black and white.

I liked the mosaic of the bottom of the fountain – it mimics water a little bit – makes it really pretty if water is there. It is a giant founain with no water – the birds would like a sip and the kid would like a dip, but it is dry and they are missing the water 🙂

I love the grape arbor. Do you make your own wine? 😀

Hi, Barb! I like wine but have no clue how they make it. Use to cut grapes as a kid on a farm, but have no idea what happened to those baskets after I filled them! For me the grape arbor looks more like a shadow maker:) This one I just saw off the road.

  16. Clueless in Boston Says:

I really like the first shot. Don’t you think he wants to jump in with all the pigeons.

It is in Bulgaria – nobody cares to fill it with water – it is a very pretty fountain originally!
